Ferry Strait in my home town Helsingør

To give you an impression of my hometown - Hamlets home - Elsinore. This narrow street (strait) called Ferry Strait leads from the main street to what was once the beach from where you could be ferried to ships in mid sea or about two miles across the Sound to the adjacent town Helsingborg in Sweden.

Just imagine the hassle to board or leave the small dinghy in high sea or even in shallow waters when the waves were fair to you.
